Materachi and Zidane have not met since Zidane's 2006 head-butt.

"Marco Materachi said he had never encountered Zinedine Zidane again after the infamous hair loss incident in the 2006 World Cup final."

The incident will proceed to the final match of the 2006 World Cup in Germany. In the second half of extra time, the game suddenly stopped and Materachi, Italy's former defender, was collapsed. Replay showed Zidane attacking Materachi with a hammer in the chest and knocking him down. The referee immediately gave Zidane a red card and ordered him to leave the team.

Following the incident, Italy won the final after a penalty shootout and a 1-1 draw in extra time. Materaci told The Times he regretted it and said he did not want the incident to be the most memorable moment of his illustrious football career.

Materachi said, "I don't like it because it's not worthy of my career. The episode was something that should never have happened. Amid the tension of the finals in Berlin, Zidane offered to give me his shirt, and I refused because I liked his sister better. Then he turned around and showed a reaction that everyone remembers. I never saw Zidane again."

Materachi also recalled his time in Inter Milan, especially under Mourinho, who led the team to a treble in the 2009/10 season. He initially had a hard time adjusting to fewer roles in the team, but praised Mourinho as the best coach he has ever worked with.

Materaci said, "Murinho was undoubtedly the best coach of my life. But despite everything, it wasn't easy to come to terms with the first situation. I was used to playing an important role as a captain, but with Mourinho it went unnoticed. But Mourinho was honest from the start that I would be less involved. It's a shame we couldn't meet earlier." 안전 토토사이트

When asked which victory was more meaningful between Inter Milan's treble in 2010 and Italy's World Cup win in 2006, Materaci was embarrassed. Materaci said, "The question is, which one do you prefer, mom or dad? I can't choose between them. They were both the best nights of my career."
